Three Sisters and Hogan

Another trip to Monument Valley yielded this expansive image.  Hogans, the native housing structures of the Navajos built with a wood structure and covered with clay and mud sit near the foot of the Monument.  Using the warmth of the late afternoon light and a point of view that places them adjacent to one of the valley’s best known monuments, Three Sisters, Kesel creates a composition of natural beauty and majesty.
