Table, Cup and Chair

At an old abandoned building, on a site in Western Arizona, Kesel came upon a room strewn with old mining periodicals and various items that created sheer clutter.  In fact, where some may have seen clutter - Kesel saw artistic opportunity.

Kesel maneuvered objects together to create the composition he desired, always keeping light as the focal point of his creations.  The result of Kesel’s artful manipulation of reality combined with the stark room and strong sidelight is this striking photograph with the uncanny feel of an Andrew Wyeth painting.
