Cold Room

Kesel creates another exciting image from the nuances of a time gone by. This shot of the old wooden ice box at Vulture Mine was captured by Kesel on one of his many visits to the mine. This very interesting image is created by using the light coming through the door and the slats above the door in this long-vacant building.  The large wooden Ice Box along the wall of the hallway was once used to store the perishable food served to the more than 500 residents of the mining camp in the early 1900s when the mine was in its heydey.
